In 1986, Standy's Furniture was opened in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Initially, we only sold unfinished furniture. Over time, we began to expand our product offerings by adding a selection of pre-finished furniture. In 2005, we added a contract furniture division. In January of 2009, we closed our retail store and expanded our contract furniture business. The unfinished and finished furniture that we carried in our retail store, we now offered online.

About Clearance Items
The sales of unfinished furniture have been in sharp contrast to the sales of our contract furniture. Because of this fact, we decided to discontinue unfinished furniture and focus solely on our contract furniture. Clearance items are mainly unfinished, but there are a few finished items that we also decided to discontinue stocking.
